Bohemia sits about 10 miles from our shop in Medford — roughly a 20-minute run. Short enough for tight arrival windows and same-week availability. Either way you are dealing with a shop on this end of the Island.
What Bohemia does to a car
Winter road salt is the serious one. It gets into every seam and door shut and keeps working long after the roads are clear. Highway mileage means embedded brake and rail dust bonded into the paint — contamination a wash cannot lift and chemical decontamination can.
Which is why chemical decontamination is included — embedded iron does not wash off, and sealing over it just locks the problem in.
Locally that plays out along Long Island MacArthur Airport and Locust Avenue , and around Sunrise Highway. Those are the roads and places the cars we work on in Bohemia actually spend their time, and it shows in what we find at the walkaround.
How we cover Bohemia
Bohemia is about 10 miles out, well inside our 25-mile mobile radius. That buys you a tight arrival window and same-week availability.
All we need is a parking space. We carry our own water, so nothing else is needed from you.
What’s included
| Package | Coupe / Sedan | SUV / Truck | Minivan / 3rd-Row SUV | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Express Detail | $200 | $225 | $250 | 1.5–2 hours |
| Deep Interior + Exterior Hand Wash | $350 | $450 | $450 | About 3 hours |
All prices are starting prices. Heavy staining, pet hair, sand and salt buildup add time, and we quote that before we start — never after.

Exterior Detailing in Bohemia — questions
Do you actually cover Bohemia?
Yes. Bohemia is about 10 miles from our Medford shop, roughly a 20-minute drive, and inside our 25-mile mobile service area. You can also bring the car to the shop or have us pick it up.
How far is your shop from Bohemia?
About 10 miles — call it 20 minutes door to door. We are at 266 Middle Island Rd Suite 7 in Medford, near LIE Exit 64. Traffic on Long Island MacArthur Airport can move that either way.
Will this remove scratches?
No. A wash and wax hides very fine marks temporarily but removes nothing. Removing defects is paint correction.
Is this better than an automatic car wash?
It is a different thing. Tunnels use the same brushes on every car and are the main source of swirl marks. A hand wash with foam pre-soak and two buckets is how you avoid adding damage.
How often should I have this done?
Every 8 to 12 weeks for most cars. Every 6 for a car that lives outside, plus a rinse during salt season.
